The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar devours John Cena to win WWE World title at SummerSlam

The Beast is king of the WWE jungle.

Brock Lesnar did what he and Paul Heyman said he would do by decapitating WWE’s figurehead John Cena to become the new WWE World champion in the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view main event on Sunday, Aug. 17 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lesnar, 37, conquered Cena, 37, by manhandling him -- something no one else has done -- to make a huge statement to the WWE locker room and WWE Universe.

Setting precedents is a common theme for the bad ass former UFC champion. He shocked the mixed martial arts world when he won the UFC title in just his third fight, and he shocked the WWE Universe when he notched the biggest win in his pro wrestling/sports entertainment career (or anyone’s career) by ending the streak as he pinned The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans in April.

Lesnar is the 1 in 21-1, and he did not allow Cena a sniff at being the 1 to beat the 1 in 21-1. Just total domination. Credit Cena, too, for doing what’s best for business. That’s why he’s been on top for so long in WWE. He gets it.

Speaking of 1, having Heyman as a mouthpiece makes a winning 1-2 punch. Reminds me of the glory days of pro wrestling with the invincable, monster heel whose spokesman elevated his status even more.

This marks Lesnar’s fourth major title reign in WWE as what’s best for Brock these days is also what’s best for business.

As the champion of the most lucrative pro wrestling/sports entertainment company in the world, the powerful Lesnar can parlay his arrogant, bulllying type persona and sly agent into a mega main event title match at WrestleMania 31.

Think of the possibilities at WrestleMania 31 with Lesnar as champ?
